Ponce de Leon

Had a large fruit salad at the mall, they are so good, I ate til I was stuffed. melons , strawberries, fresh orange segments etc..

I found an anole on my window last night, they are everywhere , when you walk the sidewalks they all scramble out of your way.

This morning for lunch I get a visit from MBH. He was so stressed out and he was freaking out, he even cried.

has 4 lawsuits to file before the day was done and he is in between offices and needs a haircut and also leaving for Munich, Germany ,in the morning for important meeting, and he is worried about me, and he offered to give me money and was so nice, etc..

I noticed his spit was white and he had strings of spit from his teeth. Dehydration, he says stress but I say dehydration. I made him drink two glasses tap water, I was out of water.

I made him a smoothie out of frozen mango and banana chunks.

I spent two hours taking his mind off it all. Funny, he wasn't THAT busy.

Anyways I spent the day in bed.

He has a restaurant as one of his clients, and at 9 pm we went this one in Coral Gables, very pretty.Very classy and nice and the food is so gourmet, which is nice. Nice, That is my favorite word.

Anyways he took me, he spoke to the chef , about business matters, he is co-owner, at a little table and I watched a little of ROCKSTAR SUPERNOVA ( go MAGNI!)..while this drunk girl who noticed me sitting there was talking to me asking three times my name holding a big glass of wine.

She was rambling on about Munich to MBH, who was trying to talk business, and about this famous beerstein she drank out of..

I make exceptions to 100% fruitarian, when I GO OUT and when I go out I eat salads sometimes, as a frutarian its an exemption, to be social, a salad is fine if I have to. It was so pretty. We had perrier. They really took care of him. This salad I got was supposed to have tuna in it but he got the chef to replace the tuna with tomatoes, I had two, so like 30 dollars in salad. But it was free because they love him and kiss his butt.

the dressing is Passionfruit Mango vinaigrette with balsamic which is no big deal, I didnt freak out. It was fine, my taste buds were going crazy though.

At night on my new HDTV, also hooked up to my laptop so I can see everything huge, we watched videos and it was hooked up to speakers and he made me watch "his " music which is really nice,

he likes AFI, ..I liked it a lot ,"Miss Murder" video and we saw all these Lacuna Coil videos which I loved, and Evanescence.

We argued whether Lacuna Coil was a " goth rock " band made big, I totally think so.

Before he got there I watching MTV overdrive and my fave video I saw was RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS for " Dani California"

I made him ( he said it was the best one I ever made) a smoothie with a yellow kiwi, a banana, half a mamey and a whole lime juiced.

oh a few weeks ago i started cutting my mangos like this and it is soooooooooooooooo much easier, dont forget when you cube the halves to turn it inside out and then cut off the cubes:

http://www.wildoats.com/u/department173/

actually I do it a little bit easier ....after the two cheeks are cut off and diced, what is left, I peel the skin off and then cut slits down the meat to the pit, like teeth and then cut them off, that way you do not need cutting board at all.

ALSO instead of peeling a kiwi, which is pain, and why I never buy them, I cut it KIWI in half and scoop out the insides with spoon. Easy.

suvine chateau divonne

I have no idea what time it is, I am on marble floors in the Chateau Divonne des Bains, In France. I am on these marble floors in the bathroom trying to be quiet. My butt, under my nightgown, it is cold. Next to me there is a heated towel rack so all the towels are warm. Let me get one to sit on.

Ok, we arrived yesterday morning. We took a huge jet, the kinds with the enormous head, definitely the biggest jet out there.

I bought a bunch of bananas and water from the Miami Airport.

I watched Xmen movie after reading my book, "DIET BY DESIGN, FRUITS, NUTS , SEEDS.."

We transferred in Paris just so I could get a tshirt, but I wound up getting a nice Paris bag with the Eiffel design.

( I regretted going to Paris for vacation, in March, and not getting a souvenir so I fixed it..~! )

I got two fruit salads there.

It seems like fruit salads in France include Apples which is different, new, not like the universal american melon salad with a few grapes.

We changed to another Air France air bus. this one to Geneve', Switzerland.( Next time I will get Swiss Air flight, because, well, they have TVS in the backs of chairs.)

We got off and saw all these private jets lined up in the Geneva airport. Alot of them.

Oh! and here and in the Paris airport we had to get off the plane, on these rolling stairs and then ride buses from the runway..a long way to get to the terminal on a stuffed bus with tired people.

I changed my money to Swiss whatever they call it.

So from the Airport I busted out my Swiss rail passes, good on trains and buses.
We took the train to NYON , I could not believe the scenery, beautiful vineyards in neat rows, on hills and fruit trees.. and ancient mansions in the middle of them!

I saw so much COUNTRY. More than I ever saw in the USA. Classy country.

People gardening, fresh air..we also listened to other passengers on the train, some talking British , some French, some speaking in Swiss. A couple girls checking out my buddy.

At Nyon, then we tried to get a cab to the hotel, (Divonnes des bains is one of the " Grand Etages de France", one of these old chateaus hotel remodeling chains in France)

We found out cab to there was 150$, we thought about it, said no way. Then so I asked some lady at the station, where Chateau Divonnes des Bains is, and she said to take the train to Coppet ( this bus crosses into France)and then and then take the Coppet bus to Divonne.

MBH and I, in Divonnes, well, I am taking the photo!

We got dropped off at some park with all this luggage. The trees were the biggest I have ever seen. It was like fairy tale time..for me!

We were in the last French city before the mountains and Switzerland.

I went to a SUPERMARCHE and I could not believe the quality of the grapes. I got red and green, they were like luscious balls of light. I also saw beautiful persimmons, I was not allowed to touch, otherwise I would have bought some.

So They accepted both euros and "Swiss money"..and the cab we found did too, but its not accurate
when they change over , it seems.

We got to the Chateau and saw it for a minute. The girls at the front desk had fake Chanel pink blazer
uniforms.

This Chateau is not only ancient from the outside, but perfectly preserved from the inside too. The floors,
each flight, creak. Chandeliers, ancient mirrors made by black paint, but very fancy..a beautiful flight of stairs
coming down...all this stuff clean and majestic. We saw thru the back briefly , thru windows as large
as the high
walls, a view of the whole city of Divonnes, to die for.

When we saw our room, I couldn't believe how old this stuff was. The ceilings are so high, and the windows too, the kind you can open up with a latch and have the whole backyard in your room, with curtains that fall to the floor from the ceiling..and WALLPAPER!!! and the beds were antiques too, and the dresser that is worth a fortune of heavy carved wood and all the desks and chairs...beautiful, ancient..

I made a joke the well kept couch apholstery are from the 70's and my friend said, "NO the 1770's!"

It was clean as it could be, being so old, it may have been a tiny musty smelling, but only my friend noticed. Dead ghosts smell.

oh it was beautiful. And out my window this ancient looking church with carved stone over the door of a praying prohpet..right in the backyard, with cemetary too, possibly, I think.

There were trees, 10 stories high and as big as fireworks, really enormous giants of green life force. Mountains and forest and also a nice umbrellaed patio to sit in the backyard, on top of stone.

Whoever lived in this house once was the King of Divonnes, the richest guy here, a nobleman, probably, juding by the portraits of Charles, the king of France way way back when and some other famous ancient French nobleman guy..I forget who, in the lobby.

We slept and awoke, the nap of dead people and I showered and went downsairs and inquired about horseback riding and made an appt to go on a two hour ride, advanced, in GEX, France...for next morning at 10 am-12..the guy at the desk did everything for me.

We went out and then and then took some evening photos of the place with my camera, my beloved Nikon D70.

This place is nice, and ancient.. we found a path thru a little woods, the air crystal clear, to a fancy pool, which was too dark.

We found secret paths in the woods..and also checked out that church which had a very stinky crypt. I was scared. my friend made me read the latin inscription on the door, something in latin about god's mortuarium and told me dead bodies were stored here in the winter when the ground was too frozen to bury them..it was dark and scary, we were alone in nature. It smelled like corpses. I was so scared.

we found a path thru fields of high grasses, overlooking the lighted up city and into dark clean briskwoods.

It came out to an old creepy door, way down a hill finally ending, leading to downtown Divonnes. Divonnes is a quaint French village city. the kind you hear about , the stereotype of its beauty is correct..

Downtown we saw a pretty ancient looking Casino too, of a different era, when people were really rich.

We walked down downtown and then to quiet peaceful chilled deserted streets and found our way, thru streets to a lake and we took pictures of weeping willows. It was so beautiful. We went by this healing waters pools, a natorium too.

We found a restaurant for my friend to eat in and I had chopped cucumbers, by far the best tasting cucumbers in the world, actually like a meal, and it gave me a clean energy..also had non sweetened jasmine tea.

On our way back we investigated the chateau.

Every floor had antiques in brand new condition. Even the doorknobs and keys, ancient!

There was a clean old iron, the kind you put coals in, sitting on a desk..

I saw a wood smelling, beautiful piano, a key pressed silently, resonating from past centuries, with candleholders over the keys!!

There were lights and chandeliers that could have been candles once.. and then gas jets ..and now electric...

There were anicent small desks, the kind women write letters on, and there was a SPINNING wheel, for making string?

There were these antique everything, even the little details, like stair case handles and bars....not just this century, but Many. beautiful flawless, brand new looking.

This place is haunted and it is also a museum, but a fancy, important, rich person's museum. I love it.

The only nice current things are the bathrooms and the Tv which is flat and maybe a telephone..everything else, even bedspreads, in perfect condition and antique.

The first floor is my favorite, maybe we'll see the restaurant for breakfast if we have time ( fruit salad for 25 bucks!)

After horseback riding, if we go, we go on a train to Murren a city on a cliff in the mountains, where there are no cars..it is accessible by those mountain cables cars.

My friend says I haven't seen anything yet! He says Switzerland is one of the richest countries to live in.Today we went horseback riding. I saw swans, cows, cats, flowers, streams, golf course, lake and streets. The guide tied my horse to her and G taught me to post. G also took photos. It was so beautiful. Mountains and paragliders above us. Our guide spoke a weird english. It was so very nice. i told g to l ook at a cow in the eye so he would go vegetarian. the cows were so playful and wanted to run with us.

armanny george

We then went and had tea and walked around Wenger. it was a little cold . All the restaurants close
 between 3-6 pm.

Nice hat, swiss farmer

G made me drink a little cacao with lavender honey.

I had Spanish avocados, medjool dates so fresh and MBH bought some milk drinks.

For dinner we were back at Murren.

I had tomatoes, avocados and MBH had calf liver and swiss fondue.

murren

Back at the hotel I made a banana and date smoothie, read fruit, the ultimate diet by rejean durette/
today we hiked from Schilthorn to Murren, it was so pretty. .we saw alot of alps, snow, grass, and just breathtaking views.
