Me on horseback, don't I look happy? I love being on horses, I do, I really love it.





This is after I went skinny dipping in waterfalls. I am on my way back to the stables. It was a long day.

told me to photograph. I was on horseback though and they flew away.


We met Hugo in the hotel lobby. He was our guide, we picked up people who were going rafting, from Chicago and then ATV people. We had some watermelon juice with SUGAR yuk. I buttered my friend's bread. Took a crazy car ride to the stables and the water came in the side and soaked our legs.

We saw sloths. Butterlfies.

I went horseback riding all day. I met Camanche, my horsie.
My horse went backwards, not all horses can do that. I went really really fast at times, but most of the time it was slow. I went to this place called RANCHOLOSTUCANES.com and had a guide named HUGO, for like half a day we went into woods, over water, through roads. Lots of fun. My horse wanted to bolt many times. It was so hot. For breakfast I had OJ and pineapple. Fruit salad stuff.

The guide made me chew cinnamin leaves and showed us vanilla flowers and showed us apples. We did a little cantoring. The horses kept trying to eat the grass and they all tried to rub against our legs to scratch their heads.


I went skinny dipping in freezing water. It was fun to swim under rapids.


Look I tried to do a panorama of the coast of Quepos.

I ate passionfruit, grapes, maracuya, and mamoncillos. I sat in a fishing bar EL GRAN ESCAPE with the ceiling covered in nazty baseball caps. Fishing scores posted on the walls , is that a sport? There were stickers of boat companies.

I had to buy pants before I went horseback riding, hence my " riding clothes" in the above photo.


Gecko's here make noises like crickets.

When people in Costa Rica go to the bathroom,noone flushes toilet paper in the toilet. They use the can. It is so
nasty!!



Typical house, lots of fences, barbed wire, unhealthy looking people, children roaming streets, banana trees


I felt like so in another world. Wandered through streets. Dirt roads, poor families. Gang lookalikes. lot of garbage.

It was so wild and tropical, I mean, iguanas everywhere

It was mango season so I saw mangos everywhere


I had a lot of fruit here. There was so much I LOOOVE.

I saw a sloth! I saw its baby later, but I heard there was a bigger sloth earlier.



Its baby was climbing around later.
The mom and its baby, they sleep 20 hours a day. The head turns very slowly. Grey. stone statues with furry faces. They only come down to poop. They eat leaves.

Avocado salad I had, there were pea greens in the middle.  Other than this tons of fruit.

I got this in this restuarant ISSIMO, next door to La Mansion and they are so nice here and WIFI is free. I am here now. Late.
