Hi Suvine.... You are so brave to let your thoughts go here. I love your page on GITMR and love reading all your blogs... thanks for being so open and honest here. Your "hippie trip" sounds like it was wonderful. Keep posting! I'm not sure why I'm interested in reading all of your posts, but I guess it's because they are so honest and real.

Where did you hear about the raw vegan retreat? I would love to go on one but I have no idea which ones are 'good' and my google search didn't really help. Could you please point me in some direction?

Sounds like you had a life-changing experience, Suvine. How beautiful, wondrous. I will be in DC while you are there, let's connect. I know a good vegetarian restaurant that has several awesome raw salads and many raw juices.

I am still a Fruitarian, still wowed by the power of fruit. But I think it is good, and healthy, to try new things when your body asks it of you. I'm doing Richard's Fruitarian Fitness Boot Camp, my God I am getting into shape. I can now run over 3 miles without stopping, couldn't do that before. And I can do a real military-style push up. Not bad for a 42 year old Fruit Goddess. :)
